The Muslim Dreamers Movement

Get Involved

The Muslim Dreamers Movement is the name of a mission founded by a group of youth based in the state of Maryland. A team of newly graduated Islamic Scholars, along with their community of individuals who had true and sincere feelings towards the faith of Islam, had previously come together to work on the formation of large intellectual gatherings and humanitarian projects for a community in need of Islamic engagement.

As they worked towards their goals and saw their plans come to life through these events, they received many positive comments from the people who they hoped would benefit from these services and decided that something needed to be done in order to keep furthering these plans and goals.

There was an absence of an organization who would work based on the principles laid out by the true scholars of Islam, which catered to individuals of all races, nationalities, ethnicities, age groups and genders and this absence was too harmful for the image of the true Islamic faith. This energetic group of youth, passionate to give all they can for the sake of their faith, decided it was time to take matters into their own hands and on November 2nd, 2019 inaugurated “The Muslim Dreamers Movement at Montgomery College, Germantown campus.

This inauguration took place in an academic event named “The Beloved’s Majesty” in the presence of a great scholar of the modern-day era, Mufti Zahid Husain al-Qadiri. With the support of scholars globally, the mission continues today and acts as a torch in a time of darkness fueled by ignorance.

With the support of Allah and His messenger, The Muslim Dreamers Movement plans to spread the knowledge of Islam across the entire globe.

“No matter how learned one may be, one must remain humble outside the door of the master. Surely, only an empty vessel can be filled.”

al-Imām Aḥmad Raḍā Khān

“Excuses can be accepted in any case except in educating one’s self.”

Guiding Scholars

Shaykh Mohammed Salman al-Nūrī

As a young Muslim born and raised in the USA, Shaykh Salman had an extraordinary attachment to his religion and its teachings. Even before going on to attain a formal education in the religion of Islām, he would often involve himself in self-study. Eager to study the religion of Islām, the honorable scholar did everything he could in order to graduate high school an entire year earlier than planned. Immediately after graduating High School, Shaykh Salman left the comfort of his home and travelled to Pakistan seeking the knowledge of the religion. After spending some time in Pakistan exploring his options of learning, Shaykh Salman returned to the USA to study under the supervision of a scholar he had learned was residing in Houston, Texas. The scholar residing in Houston was none other than the grandson of Sayyidunā Ṣadr al-Sharī`ah and the khalīfah of Sayyidunā Taj al-Sharī`ah and Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr, Muftī Fayḍān al-Muṣṭafā Qādirī. Under the guidance of his honorable teacher, the Shaykh was able to complete the entire syllabus of Dars e Niẓāmī (`Ālim program) along with certification as a Qārī in the Qirat of Imām Ḥafṣ. After graduating from the program, he was granted much honor as he was given ijāzah in Ḥadīth by the greatest expert in Ḥadīth of this era, al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr and he was also granted khilāfah by the grand Muftī of India, Qā`id al-Millah Muftī `Asjad Raḍā Khān al-Qādirī.

Today, as a founding member of the Muslim Dreamers, Shaykh Salman al-Nūrī tirelessly serves the religion as he teaches courses, writes books and articles and translates many works of Islām from other languages.

Shaykh Sayyid Mohammed Asad al-Qādirī

Born and raised in Maryland, USA, Shaykh Asad came across many types of people and many diverse communities. Amongst all of the problems he witnessed in these societies, he realized that the solution to it all was found in the glorious religion of Islām. As he grew and matured, he became motivated to go out and learn the religion in order to spread its message to those who needed it most but had no idea. Before even making the decision to acquire a formal education as an Islāmic Scholar, he would preach the teachings of Islām he had acquired through study of books and lectures of scholars and through this, he was able to have individuals leave their former religions to submit to the beautiful religion of Islām. For those who had already embraced Islām, he was able to give them training in basic issues of creed and jurisprudence. In a manner of love and wisdom, he would refute deviants and make manifest the true teachings of Islām.

After completion of High School, he made the decision to do anything required in order to study the teachings of Islām and eventually had the fortunate opportunity to study from the grandson of Sayyidunā Ṣadr al-Sharī`ah and the khalīfah of Sayyidunā Tāj al-Sharī`ah and Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr, Muftī Fayḍān al-Muṣṭafā Qādirī.

Along his way, he continued his work in spreading the teachings of Islām and continued to have people accept Islām on his hands. He completed his studies in Houston, Texas to become an `Ālim, Fāḍil and Qārī and stayed to acquire experience as the manager of a Da`wah project for a local Masjid. Upon his return to Maryland, he, along with his team, founded the Muslim Dreamers.

Currently, he spends his time serving the Muslim Dreamers movement and manages several other academic projects for any organization who seeks to sincerely serve Islām. He has been referred to as a machine of ideas by his own teacher and is truly a creative genius who seeks to serve the religion in innovative and appealing ways.

He has been bestowed ijāzah in Ḥadīth by the greatest expert in Ḥadīth of this era, al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr and has been bestowed khilāfah by the grand Muftī of India, Muftī `Asjad Raḍā Khān al-Qādirī. He is also the representative of Jamā`ah Raḍā e Muṣṭafā in USA.

Shaykh Sayyid Abdul Samad al-Qādirī

Born and raised in Maryland, USA, Shaykh Abdul Samad witnessed the lack of understanding regarding the religion of Islām. He then committed himself to take the responsibility of learning and spreading the knowledge of Islām. From a young age, he began studying the knowledge of the glorious religion on his own and immediately became an influence in the community as people would resort to him in their times of need. He began delivering lectures and did whatever it took to inspire others. He then decided to use his intelligence to further learn the sciences of Islām in order to fulfill the needs of the communities and societies throughout the country. He travelled to Houston, Texas and had the opportunity to study from the grandson of Sayyidunā Ṣadr al-Sharī`ah and the khalīfah of Sayyidunā Tāj al-Sharī`ah and Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr, Muftī Fayḍān al-Muṣṭafā Qādirī. He excelled in Islāmic studies and immediately put his special abilities to use. While studying, he taught a number of courses, delivered lectures, wrote articles and did whatever it took to spread the knowledge of Islām.

After completing his studies and becoming an ‘Ālim, Fāḍil and Qārī, he gained experience of serving the community as a scholar through an Islāmic center established in Baltimore, Maryland. He gave students of all ages and ethnicities the opportunity to learn the religion. He continuously strives to serve the religion by travel and delivering lectures around the country. He has also been granted ijāzah in Ḥadīth by the greatest expert in Ḥadīth of this era, al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr and has been bestowed khilāfah by the grand Muftī of India, Muftī `Asjad Raḍā Khān al-Qādirī. He was appointed as the Chief Qāḍī of Maryland by the scholars and public of his community to guide them in issues pertaining to moon sighting, marriage, divorce, etc.

He then founded the Muslim Dreamers organization along with his dedicated team and currently works to serve Islām through this platform. Shaykh Abdul Samad involves himself in many academic works such as writing books, developing research articles, teaching courses and much more for the sake of educating and inspiring those in need of the light of Islām.

Al-Muḥaddith Al-Kabīr, `Allāmah Ḍiyā al-Muṣṭafā al-Qādirī

Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr, the son of Sayyidunā Ṣadr al-Sharī`ah, is truly one of the greatest scholars this era has seen. An unmatched teacher with thousands of students, a spiritual guide whose followers occupy every horizon, an eloquent orator who moves the heart of his audience, a master in the science of ḥadīth who has committed thousands of narrations to memory with their chains, an expert in the field of fiqh who even the scholars resort to for rulings, Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr is a true reflection of his father’s nobility and scholarship.

Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr was born in Ghosi, India which is popularly recognized as “Madīnah al-`Ulamā’” or the city of scholars. At birth, he was given the name “Muḥammad Wāḥid `Alī” but became widely known as “Ḍiyā al-Muṣṭafā” which translates to “The light of Muṣṭafā”.

In the early years of his life, he sat with his noble father and started his journey on the road of Islāmic sciences. In only the beginning stages of his learning from his father, his father was amazed by his son’s thorough comprehension and exclaimed “By the will of Allāh, this son of mine will be a great scholar in the future!” Throughout this journey, he had the opportunity to see great scholars of his time.

He had seen Sayyidunā Ḥujjat al-Islām, Imām Ḥāmid Raḍā Khān and became a spiritual follower and khalīfah of Sayyidunā al-Muftī al-A`ẓam, Imām Muṣṭafā Raḍā Khān. Of his many noble teachers, the one he grew closest to was one of the closest students of his father; Sayyidunā Ḥāfiẓ al-Millah, Shaykh `Abd al-`Azīz al-Mubārakpūrī. His noble teacher claimed to have given him everything he had received from Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr’s honorable father and conferred his position and its responsibilities to him. Towards the end of his mortal life, he had handed over to him the very university he had dedicated his life to developing and also gave Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr responsibility of his own son.

Due to the plentiful and numerous blessings he had received from the pious predecessors, he was granted this rank which is truly unmatched. His works are truly a source of enlightenment and inspiration for all those who are familiar.

Today, he stands as the distinguishing factor between those who are sincere to the religion of Islām and those who are not. He serves the religion in every breath he takes with complete sincerity and utmost dedication.

We ask Allāh to always protect him and keep him in good health so the Muslim nation can continue to seek safety from evil under his supervision.

He has blessed this organization with many du`ās and the organization also seeks help and guidance from him in various matters.

Qā’id al-Millah, Muftī `Asjad Raḍā Khān al-Qādirī

The city of Bareilly, India has been blessed numerous times with the presence and birth of scholars who were not only unique in their mastery and intellect, but scholars who became recognized as the leaders of the Muslim nation. The most notable of these high-ranking leaders was the mujaddid of Islām, Sayyidunā al-Imām Aḥmad Raḍā Khān. The noble Imām had dedicated his life to the service of the religion and ended up leaving behind such offspring who would follow in his footsteps to continue this mission.

On the 14th of Sha`bān, 1390 AH (1970 AC), yet another child would be born to this illustrious family who would bear the torch of his noble forefathers in assuming a leading role of the Muslim nation. A prince was born to the king known by the world as Tāj al-Sharī`ah, Muftī Akhtar Raḍā Khān. He was welcomed into this world with immense happiness from all of the family especially Sayyidunā al-Muftī al-A`ẓam, Imām Muṣṭafā Raḍā Khān. Upon birth, the noble prince was named “Munawwar Raḍā Muḥāmid” and is recognized today by the name “`Asjad Raḍā Khān”.

Early on in his life, he reaped the blessings of sitting in the company of Sayyidunā al-Muftī al-A`ẓam and made for himself such a special place in the heart of his noble forefather that Sayyidunā al-Muftī al-A`ẓam prayed to Allāh that he becomes a true scholar of Islām.

On the road to becoming the embodiment of Sayyidunā al-Muftī al-A`ẓam’s du’ā, Muftī `Asjad Raḍā began learning from his parents at a very young age and along the path of seeking sacred knowledge, he acquired knowledge from some of the greatest scholars the era had seen. Upon growing up, he learned the advanced books from illustrious teachers who include the likes of Ṣadr al-`Ulamā’ Muftī Taḥsīn Raḍā Khān and his own honorable father.

During the lifetime of his father, he manifested such leadership qualities that his father appointed him as his successor and positioned him as the Qāḍī of the city of Bareilly.

Upon his noble father’s passing, Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr placed upon him the responsibility of being the chief Qāḍī for all of India and gave him the title by which he is recognized today, “Qā`id al-Millah” (the leader of the nation).

Today, he serves as a means of guidance for many across the globe. Taking a look at him and his beauty serves as a reminder for the remembrance of Allāh. He is unique in his qualities and is a true reflection of his grand lineage. May Allāh protect him and keep the nation under his shade.

He continues to support the Muslim Dreamers organization with his du`ās and guides the organization with his valuable advice and leadership.

Muftī Fayḍān al-Muṣṭafā al-Qādirī

Muftī Fayḍān al-Muṣṭafā al-Qādirī, the grandson of Sayyidunā Ṣadr al-Sharī’ah, was born in the year 1974 in Ghosi, India, the city of scholars. Following the footsteps of his forefathers, Muftī Fayḍān al-Muṣṭafā too embarked the path of knowledge at an early age. Besides learning from his blessed grandmother, the honorable wife of Sayyidunā Ṣadr al-Sharī’ah, Muftī Fayḍān al-Muṣṭafā learned the foundational subjects at an institute by the name of “Dār al-`Ulūm Shams al-`Ulūm.” In 1991, he enrolled in Jāmi`ah Ashrafiyyah and graduated in 1995 with excellent scores. After spending one year gaining expertise in Arabic and English, he would take on the responsibilities of a teacher at Jāmi`ah Amjadiyyah in 1997.

As a teacher, he has accomplished goals many would never even think to set. He teaches in a manner which truly reflects the blood of his noble grandfather running in his veins. No matter the age or intellectual level of any person, if they have the opportunity to sit in the lectures of this esteemed scholar, they will find the knowledge flowing into their hearts and minds with ease. When he arrived in the United States of America to teach at Al-Noor Institute of Islāmic Sciences, he found a classroom of students with backgrounds completely different to his. In this classroom, he found students who did not even share his language of Urdu in which he had always taught. But despite all of this, he was able to teach these students and make them scholars of Islām. Today, his teaching abilities are recognized all throughout the world as he has hundreds of students who study online from him globally.

Though he is a genius and an unmatched scholar of his time, he lives an extremely simple life and is very down to earth. He works day and night as an author, teacher, lecturer, speaker and a research scholar to the point that he has been referred to as a working machine.

Recognizing his genius and wisdom, he was granted khilāfah by both Sayyidunā Tāj al-Sharī`ah and Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr.

He continues to honor Muslim Dreamers with his presence on various educational virtual programs and always blesses this organization with his du`ās and valuable advices.

May Allāh protect him always.

Shaykh Sayyid Zamān ‘Alī Ja’frī al-Qādirī

Growing up in Karachi, Pakistan, Shaykh Sayyid Zamān `Alī Ja`frī al-Qādirī had the honor of living in the shadow of one of the greatest scholars Pakistan had seen, `Allāmah Shāh Turāb al-Ḥaq al-Qādirī. Living in the guidance and supervision of the great Shāh Turāb al-Ḥaq, Shaykh Sayyid Zamān `Alī Ja`frī would often be advised to go and learn certain subjects from certain teachers. `Allāmah Shāh Turāb al-Ḥaq would guide him to the best teacher to teach the subject matter at hand and this way he would go to many scholars benefitting from their respective expertise until his knowledge had reached scholarly level. His teachers include the likes of Qārī Riyāḍ Aḥmad Badāyūnī, Muftī `Abd al-`Azīz Ḥanafī and he has even had the honor of learning from Tāj al-Sharī`ah Muftī Akhtar Raḍā Khān al-Azharī. Shaykh Sayyid Zamān `Alī would serve `Allāmah Shāh Turāb al-Ḥaq at every opportunity he would get, and he was soon accepted as the son-in-law of `Allāmah Shāh Turāb al-Ḥaq al-Qādirī.

As he served the honorable `Allāmah Shāh Turāb al-Ḥaq, he was granted khilāfah by Sayyidunā Tāj al-Sharī`ah. Witnessing this blessed occasion, `Allāmah Shāh Turāb al-Ḥaq became confident in him and granted him khilāfah as well. He was also granted khilāfah by Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr.

Throughout his life, one can find many examples of his sacrifices for the religion of Islām and for the honor of Allāh’s messenger. Despite having a well-paying job and living in the best city one can ever imagine in this world, the city of Madīnah Munawwarah, he moved back to Pakistan only to defend the honor of Allāh’s beloved messenger. He gives up his belongings only to help others and does everything in his power to help the people.

Through his character, his sincerity and immense dedication in doing work for Islām, he shows that he is truly worthy of the khilāfah granted to him by all three of the greatest scholars this era has seen.

His support plays a great role in the continuous efforts made by the Muslim Dreamers organization and he continues to bless this organization with his du`ās.

Shaykh Mawlānā ‘Ārif Barkātī

Born and raised in India, Mawlānā `Ārif Barkātī had the pleasure of seeing and accompanying many great scholars. Him remaining in the company of such pious individuals became the reason of his success in the field of scholarship. Mawlānā `Ārif has accompanied scholars such as `Allāmah Arshad al-Qādirī whose personality and way of life he would study in their company in order to adapt their habits as his own.

Early in his lifetime, Allāh granted him the opportunity to commit The Holy Qur’ān to his mind and heart, through passion, dedication and guidance from his maternal grandfather, he was able to do so. With every word of The Qur’ān in his heart and a voice that would cause the audience to lose themselves in the beauty of The Qur’ān, he was being invited from all over the country for an opportunity to hear his beautiful voice recite the Word of Allāh.

He would then go on to study and graduate from one of the most well-known Islāmic universities in India, al-Jāmi`ah al-Ashrafiyyah in Mubārakpūr. This is the very university in which Mawlānā `Ārif was blessed with a teacher such as al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr. He grew very close to this teacher of his and reaped many benefits from him

Of the many scholars Mawlānā `Ārif had the chance to serve, one of them were Sayyidunā Tāj al-Sharī`ah Muftī Akhtar Raḍā Khān. He served him in many ways such as reciting The Qur’ān to him when he, Tāj al-Sharī`ah himself, was memorizing the Qur’ān and reciting to him excerpts from the book “Al-Mu`taqad al-Muntaqad” when he was translating it. It was at this time, when Mawlānā `Ārif would recite “Al-Mu`taqad” when Sayyidunā Tāj al-Sharī`ah praised his fabulous recitation and upon hearing this praise, al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr claimed to feel a satisfaction to know that he had produced a worthy scholar.

Through the blessings of his shaykh, Sayyidunā Aḥsan al-`Ulamā’, he was granted khilāfah by both Tāj al-Sharī`ah and al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr and serves the religion of Islām by travelling globally to preach the message of Islām. Today, he resides in Malawi, Africa and serves the local community by enlightening them with the beautiful teachings of Islām.

Muftī Zahid Husain al-Qādirī

In the darkness of western ideologies, we seldom find someone who would carry the lantern of the pious scholars in the past and those who truly reflect the teachings of Islām. Muftī Zahid Husain al-Qādirī is the true torch bearer of true Islāmic principles in the west.

Many people in the world have the opportunity of studying from great scholars and Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr is a scholar who has thousands of students. But Muftī Zahid is such a student who not only got the opportunity to sit in his classroom, but he was even given the honor to live in the blessed home of Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr. Being so close to his shaykh, one can see Muftī Zahid to be a reflection of his teacher.

Besides going to India from the UK to study from Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr, the honorable scholar has even studied at Al-Azhar University of Cairo, Egypt. Whilst he was studying there, Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr personally called him to inform him of the arrival of his honorable son at the same university for study purposes. This way he remained extremely close to the family of al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr and reaped many of their blessings.

Sayyidunā Tāj al-Sharī`ah himself recognized Muftī Zahid’s scholarship as he advised his English-speaking followers to resort to him as a means of knowledge. Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr also recognizes his genius and says that he is a trustable person according to him.

Both, Sayyidunā Tāj al-Sharī`ah and al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr, have granted him khilāfah and have put their trust in him.

Today, he serves the religion by traveling the world speaking in various gatherings of knowledge and he also teaches in a classroom setting. People around the world are impressed by his knowledge and change their ways once they hear him speak. He is the light in times of darkness. He runs, with his team, TheSunniWay project and is making great contributions to the mission of Islām.

He helps the Muslim Dreamers organization develop its academic services as he has blessed the Muslim Dreamers with his presence in academic programs in the past and continues to support the organization with his valuable advice and du`ās.
