Shaykh Salman al-Nuri

As a young Muslim born and raised in the USA, Shaykh Salman had an extraordinary attachment to his religion and its teachings. Even before going on to attain a formal education in the religion of Islām, he would often involve himself in self-study. Eager to study the religion of Islām, the honorable scholar did everything he could in order to graduate high school an entire year earlier than planned. Immediately after graduating High School, Shaykh Salman left the comfort of his home and travelled to Pakistan seeking the knowledge of the religion. After spending some time in Pakistan exploring his options of learning, Shaykh Salman returned to the USA to study under the supervision of a scholar he had learned was residing in Houston, Texas. The scholar residing in Houston was none other than the grandson of Sayyidunā Ṣadr al-Sharī`ah and the khalīfah of Sayyidunā Taj al-Sharī`ah and Sayyidunā al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr, Muftī Fayḍān al-Muṣṭafā Qādirī. Under the guidance of his honorable teacher, the Shaykh was able to complete the entire syllabus of Dars e Niẓāmī (`Ālim program) along with certification as a Qārī in the Qirat of Imām Ḥafṣ. After graduating from the program, he was granted much honor as he was given ijāzah in Ḥadīth by the greatest expert in Ḥadīth of this era, al-Muḥaddith al-Kabīr and he was also granted khilāfah by the grand Muftī of India, Qā`id al-Millah Muftī `Asjad Raḍā Khān al-Qādirī.

Today, as a founding member of the Muslim Dreamers, Shaykh Salman al-Nūrī tirelessly serves the religion as he teaches courses, writes books and articles and translates many works of Islām from other languages.
